Europa-Park – the world’s greatest theme park!
Tremendous fun for adults and children from all around the world.
Conveniently located in Europe, right in the city of Rust at the border to France, the theme park can easily be reached from all corners of the globe. The Europa-Park is open to all those seeking an adventure as well as a day full of adrenaline, surprises, relaxation and some culinary delights.
Europa-Park = absolute thrill!
Without its multitude of rollercoasters and rides, Germany’s biggest theme park would surely only be half as thrilling.
Europa-Park is waiting for you with its 12 rollercoasters, which provide challenges to every taste and always guarantee an unforgettable adrenalin rush. Among the park’s most notorious rollercoasters is the Silver Star, a 73m-high hyper-coaster. It is one of the three highest rollercoasters in Germany and the second-highest ride in all of Europe. Choose from the large variety of rollercoasters that make you travel through absolute darkness, feel as if you were floating on air or scream with surprise when crashing through waterfalls. Whichever you choose, prepare for an absolutely thrilling experience.
Nearly 100 rides for never-ending fun
For all those with seemingly endless stamina, about 100 rides are just waiting to be conquered. Whether you are a fan of traditional roundabouts, caterpillar rides or modern rollercoasters and rides - there is hardly anything missing from the park’s variety of attractions. At total of 17 themed areas offer fun and surprises for people of all ages. It’s nearly impossible to discover the whole park on foot in one day as it comprises an ample area of nearly 950,000 square meters. Visitors should therefore get an overview of the area by taking one of the park’s three miniature railways. Even veterans, which have visited Europa-Park several times before, say that they have yet to discover all of its attractions.
Embark on a culinary voyage and treat yourself to exclusive dishes in the numerous event restaurants the park has to offer. A huge variety of snack bars and smaller restaurants located at the mall or spread throughout the park will satisfy even the smallest of appetites. The park’s changing dinner shows are legendary. Gourmets have the opportunity to be spoiled with culinary delights at the award-winning “Ammolite – The Lighthouse” restaurant, which is housed in an old lighthouse. Interesting fact: the Ammolite is the world’s only restaurant located in a theme park to have been awarded with 2 Michelin stars.
More fun and excitement
If you have enough time on your hands, be sure to visit the different shows and animated programs the park offers for children, teenagers, grown-ups or the whole family. Shows that change annually will let you discover something new every year. The parades through the mall and short films presented in the park’s 4D cinema will constantly hold new surprises for visitors.
For those that simply can’t get enough of rollercoasters and other thrilling rides, the park offers exciting water rides that are very popular in the summer. Forget your everyday worries by floating sky-high at the Euro-Tower, which, after a short and calm elevator ride, offers a breathtaking view of the whole park.
Every year, about 5 million people from all over the world visit the Europa-Park Rust. Thus, you‘ll never feel alone here. About half of the park’s visitors come from Germany, the other half is comprised of tourists from all around the globe. About 25% of tourists come from France, another 20% from Switzerland. The Europa-Park is a truly international place – not only because of its 17 themed areas that represent different countries, but also due to the sheer multitude of languages spoken by its visitors. On top of that, about 200 TV shows are being recorded at the Europa-Park every year, which is why you might encounter television crews belonging to famous German TV channels such as ARD, ZDF, RTL or PRO7.
